Delwood School is only accepting registrations for the French Immersion Program for the 2019-2020 school year in Kindergarten, Grade 1 or Grade 2. Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting registrations for Grades 3 to 6 to ensure we can provide comfortable class sizes in high-quality learning environments.

Other than Kindergarten, Delwood School is no longer accepting registrations for our Regular Program for the 2019-2020 school year. We are accepting registrations if you have moved into the Brintnell or Delwood neighbourhoods after April 15, 2019.

We are currently accepting registrations for the 2020-2021 school year. To qualify for Kindergarten, students must be born between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015.

Principal's Message

Welcome and Bienvenue to Delwood School. Our school has been providing excellent education to students in Northeast Edmonton for over 50 years. We offer regular English and French Immersion programming for students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Our vision is: "Success for Everyone."

Delwood is a caring, child-centered, professional environment, encouraging students to explore and engage their curiousity as they strive to achieve their best.

At Delwood School, we will focus on three virtues; RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, and SAFETY. These virtues will guide our community as we work together in support of student learning. As a community of life-long learners, students, staff, parents, guardians, and community will gather to contribute to student success. This work will be shaped by the values of accountability, collaboration, equity, and integrity.

I look forward to working with Delwood School families over the school year, developing quality relationships to enhance learning opportunities and success for everyone.

Trina Empson, MEd.

Ecole Delwood School is currently accepting registrations for the French Immersion Program for the 2019-2020 school year in Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 only. Unfortunately, we are turning away everyone requesting Grades 3 to 6 now to ensure class sizes are not too large.
